Public relations co-op

The Wisconsin Department of Tourism (WDT) is please to offer industry partners an opportunity to participate in an exclusive public relations co-op marketing program for the first time.  During these uncertain times, out priority is to ensure our partners are supported through their public relations efforts to achieve their goals for the tourism industry in our state.  As such, WDT is matching dollars invested by you at a minimum rate of 1:1.  We’ve identified offerings that allow you to align your PR efforts with Travel Wisconsin’s overarching strategy while also ensuring your business is set up for success for tourism public relations in a pos-COVID-19 era.  Included with each offering is the support of our public relations agency partner, TURNER, to guide us through these unprecedented times.

Testimonials

Influencer Campaign

"Collaborating with the state on the influencer co-op allowed us to expand our budget and increase reach across our targeted markets, which was paramount this last year when typical marketing efforts were met with a level of uncertainty.

From the very beginning, the team at Turner made sure we were closely involved throughout the process. They addressed any questions and concerns timely. We were confident that our goals were being met and that the partnership was equally beneficial. We were very pleased with the deliverables and can’t wait to partner again next year!"

Small Group Mentorship Program

Having the opportunity to partner with the Dept. of Tourism through their PR co-op program has allowed us to stretch our PR budget even further while working together to enhance editorial and social messages for Door County and for the greater good of Wisconsin. We value the partnership, appreciate the opportunities and look forward to continuing our collaborative efforts moving forward.
